i'm sure we see some of the wt's depictions of death and and destruction(verbal and in pictures) that awaits those not in corporate "jehovah's" favor, a clear uses of inducing maximum fear and stress to make the mind more suggestable to corporate directives.

I wonder if some good data on mind control can be used in a court of law to make the WT financially vulnerable to numerous lawsuit from every angle and it harmful use of disfellowshipping individuals emotionally. I think the day is coming as society becomes more enlightened about harm such brainwashing has on people or how evil it can be while being used by a charitable organization that hides behind religious freedom, who's bottom line is profits no matter who it harms/kills.

Jungian "archetypes" of human collective unconscious (through evolution of our species). We inherited them as a human, with a very distant past that control us "instincts" that move us and how we see the world, if you will.
I'm the opinion that the watchtower corporation of inducing fear and total obedience of murderous Deity and bending the will of the indoctrinated thwart the proper expression of these archetypes and cause mental problems.

Thanks for the article on rumination. According to my understanding of neurons is, that when neuros fire it makes them healthy and more easy to fire in the future, so that when one forms a thought loop of negative ideas those neuron in those pathways are nice and healthy while the other neuron are getting weaker and weaker and so once one has a deeply ingrained neuron patterns it is hard to get other pathways (hard to teach an old dog new tricks scenario) established.
Training is required and maybe some type of chemical intervention could be helpful.

But this only deals with depression and not organic mental illness which I think is a major contributing factor, while not minimizing enviroment (cult indoctrination)(unhealthy thinking thought loops).
